"Gnome" Way!

Hello fellow crafters and bloggy friends!  It has been awhile since I shared a project - I hope you have not forgotten about me, I know I have missed you!  I have a fun card I made for a long-time friend that turned 40 this past week.  He and my husband have a thing for garden gnomes so I had to put one on his card.  I had to tie the gnome into the saying on the card too - it is cheesy I know!!!  But, it works I think!

The cute little gnome came from the Good Luck Gnomes SVG set by Lettering Delights.  Isn't he so adorable!  I combined a rectangle and a shadow of the gnome in Sure Cuts A Lot to create the card shape.  I just love making unique card shapes and it is so simple to do using the flip and weld functions in SCAL!

Other materials used:
  • Stampin' Up! patterned paper
  • Mr. and Mrs. Popsicle font by Free Scrapbooking Fonts
  • Flower and black pearls by Creative Charms
Feels good to be blogging again!  Happy weekend!
